On the work

Dance is the physical manifestation of the spiritual journey.

I dance because the form asks to be kept alive, not preserved behind glass, but breathed into each new room, each new audience.

My work sits at the meeting point of inherited grammar and present feeling. I am interested in what an ancient gesture means now, in this body, on this stage, to these eyes.
